What is Global Village?
Global Village is an open-air park in Dubai that opens each year for the cooler months. Every pavilion is themed on a country or region, with its own façade, street food and goods for sale, so in one evening you can walk from spices and textiles to sweets, crafts and snacks from dozens of countries. Season 31 has 29 cultural pavilions representing more than 90 cultures and over 3,500 shopping outlets, plus stage shows and a funfair area called Carnaval.
It suits almost everyone: families come for the rides and shows, food lovers for the stalls, and first-time visitors for an easy, lively evening after a day of sightseeing. Your Global Village entry ticket covers the gate; food, shopping, rides and some attractions are paid inside.

What to see in Season 31
- The pavilions: walk the main loop and stop at the countries you are curious about. Each one has its own food and shopping.
- Season 31 Passport: collect a stamp at every pavilion; there is also a Kids Passport for children.
- New shows: the Fast Live 2 stunt show, Bollywood Idol and the Bank Heist show are new this season.
- Gardens of the World: a landscaped walk that links the Egypt and China pavilions.
- Dragon Kingdom: a walk-through attraction with 11 themed rooms.
- Carnaval: the funfair area with rides and The Little Wonderers, an indoor adventure park for younger children. Rides are paid separately.
A simple evening plan
- Arrive soon after 4pm: the pavilions are easier to walk before the evening crowds.
- Pavilions before dark: start with the countries you most want to see and pick up small bites as you go.
- Carnaval early in the evening: if you plan to do rides, go before the late-evening rush.
- Dinner and a show: use the Global Village app for the day's show times.
- Shopping last: buy souvenirs at the end so you are not carrying bags all evening.
Tips for a smoother visit
- Wear comfortable shoes: the park is large and almost all of it is on foot.
- Carry some cash: most places take cards, but some smaller stalls may not.
- Weekdays are quieter: Thursday to Saturday nights draw the biggest crowds.
- Bring a power bank: between photos, maps and show times, phones drain fast.
- Buy tickets from a trusted seller: fake ticket sites appear every season. With KWIKAR, our team confirms the final price on WhatsApp before you pay.
Getting there
Global Village is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). There are free car parks as well as paid parking closer to the gates, and public buses run from several Metro stations; check the RTA journey planner for the current route. The easiest option for families and groups is a private transfer from your hotel, which we can add to your ticket request.
Who gets free entry?
In past seasons, children under 3, visitors aged 65 and over, and People of Determination entered free. Global Village had not confirmed these rules for Season 31 when we last checked, so send the ages in your group and our team confirms who needs a ticket.
Make a day of it
Global Village only opens at 4pm, so the morning is free. Pair it with the Dubai Frame, the Dubai Miracle Garden, which is also open in the cooler months, or an indoor visit such as the Dubai Aquarium on a hot afternoon. For more ideas see 3 days in Dubai and Dubai with kids.
