Day 1: Downtown Dubai

Both stops on day one are inside or next to The Dubai Mall, so you only travel once. The nearest metro station is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall.

  • Afternoon: the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. The ticket counter is on Level 2 of the mall, and you can see the tunnel and the zoo upstairs in a relaxed visit.
  • Sunset: Burj Khalifa At the Top. The entrance is on the lower ground (LG) level of the mall. Allow 1.5–2 hours including queues and the lift. A sunset slot is the most popular, so book this one first.

Day 2: Dubai Frame and the desert

  • Morning: the Dubai Frame opens at 8am. The entrance is at Gate 4 of Zabeel Park and the nearest metro is Al Jafiliya. Go early, then head back to your hotel to rest.
  • Afternoon and evening: the evening desert safari picks you up from your hotel in the afternoon and takes about 6–8 hours in total, with dune bashing, a sunset stop, a camel ride, dinner and live shows.

Prefer a quiet evening? Swap in the morning desert safari (about 4 hours, no dinner or show) and see the Frame in the afternoon. Our guide to morning vs evening safaris compares the two.

Day 3: Beach day and a dinner cruise

  • Daytime: keep it free. After two busy days, a beach morning at JBR or your hotel pool is a good break.
  • Evening: the Alexandra dhow dinner cruise boards in Dubai Marina at 8:15pm and sails from 9:00 to 10:45pm past JBR, Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai, with a buffet dinner.

For a different evening, try Global Village during its season (Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026). It opens at 4pm and stays open until midnight Sunday to Wednesday and until 1am Thursday to Saturday. Compare boats in dhow cruise vs yacht.

Tips for a smooth three days

  • Book the fixed times first: the Burj Khalifa sunset slot, the safari and the cruise run at set times. The Aquarium and Dubai Frame tickets are more flexible.
  • One main booking a day: Dubai is spread out, and taxis between areas take time. Grouping each day by area saves hours.
  • Travelling with children: under-3s are free on the safari and the Dubai Frame, and under-5s are free on the dhow cruise. Dune bashing is not suitable for pregnant women or guests with back or heart conditions.
  • One request: send all your tickets in one WhatsApp request. Our team checks availability for each date and confirms the final price before you pay.

Questions

Are 3 days enough for Dubai?

Three days is enough for the main sights on a first visit: Downtown and the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Frame, a desert safari and a dinner cruise. With more time, add a theme park or a day trip to Abu Dhabi.

What should I book in advance for 3 days in Dubai?

Book anything with a fixed time first: the Burj Khalifa at sunset, the desert safari and the dinner cruise. Aquarium and Dubai Frame tickets are more flexible.

Can I do the Dubai Frame and a desert safari on the same day?

Yes. The Dubai Frame opens at 8am, so you can visit in the morning and be back at your hotel before the evening safari picks you up in the afternoon.

Which day is best for Burj Khalifa?

Day one works well, because the Aquarium and Burj Khalifa are both in The Dubai Mall. Book a sunset slot early, as it is the most popular time.

Is this itinerary suitable for children?

Yes. Every stop welcomes children, with free entry for the youngest on the safari, Dubai Frame and dhow cruise. Dune bashing is not suitable for pregnant women or guests with back or heart conditions.

How do I book everything in this itinerary?

Open each experience, choose your options and send one request on WhatsApp. Our team confirms availability and the final price before you pay.
